Acupuncture as an adjunct to usual care may provide some benefits in reducing immediate and short-term pain and disability among adults with Chronic Primary Low Back Pain.

Patient care plans should be developed through a collaborative decision-making process, that carefully considers scientific evidence, cost-effectiveness, and relevant contextual factors, such as values and preferences of users of needling therapies.
