Biomechanisms of Acupuncture Pointsby Joe Jennings, Bsc TCM (Hons), MBAcC
This project is sponsored by:

We are excited to bring together Joe Jennings and Healthy Seminars to collaborate on this biomechanisms project, which aims to publish literature pertaining to every single acupuncture point on the main meridians, and some beyond.
As a result, we will focus on publishing all the known biomechanisms for each acupuncture point, culminating in Joe presenting a webinar on Healthy Seminars about the most researched point on the corresponding meridian. Alongside each of these webinars, we will publish the full list of points from that meridian, which will be fully accessible through EBA Connect. This database will be completely searchable, allowing EBA Connect members to search terms like ‘anti-inflammatory,’ and all points tagged with that function or containing those keywords in their descriptions will be displayed. This way, you will be able to find acupuncture points and their functions easily, helping you make evidence-informed decisions in your clinical practice.
Join EBA Connect for immediate access
By joining EBA Connect, you will gain full access to all the published biomechanisms of acupuncture points, the EBA Forum, as well as exclusive videos, educational content and tools, all while supporting our work in future-proofing our profession!
“One of the most exciting discoveries from the research so far is that acupuncture points often serve a dual function – not only reducing pathological processes but also enhancing the body’s health-promoting mechanisms. What is even more remarkable is that many points, especially those with substantial research backing, perform not just what they are traditionally known for but go far beyond those classical functions!”
EBA would like to express gratitude to Joe Jennings for this valuable contribution to the profession and to Lorne Brown and Healthy Seminars for financially supporting this project.
